EFFECT OF MOISTURE CONTENT OF CALCAREOUS SOIL, TYPE AND QUANTITY OF NITROGENOUS FERTILIZERS ON GROWTH AND GREEN FODDER PRODUCTIVITY OF SORGHUM BICOLOR L.

Summary

A Pots experiment was carried out in a glass house in The Faculty of Agriculture-University of Sana'a to study the effect of the following levels of the examined factors on Sorghum bicolor L. (Yarim - Sana'a) growth and green fodder productivity: - A- Two levels of soil moisture content: 45 % and 75 % of the field. capacity. B- Three types of nitrogenous fertilizers: Cow manure, Restaurant leftover and ammonium sulfate. C- Four levels (dose) of utilized fertilizers nitrogen: NO=0.0, N l= 0.5, N2= 1.0 and N3=1.5 g N/pot. (Every pot contains 5 kg Soil).
