This study was conducted at the Nasser's Faculty of Agricultural Sciences - University of Aden - Lahg Province, during the agricultural seasons 2007/2008 and 2008/2009, to study the effect of varieties on the Morphology characteristics in Vinca ''Catharanthus roseus (Linnaeus) George''. Two varieties were used in the study, as Rosea (Violet flowers) and Alba (White flowers). The study included two phases, The first phase is the production of seedling 8 weeks and the second phase is the sustainable agriculture in the land 6 months, The Randomized Complete Block Design -RCBD- was used in the experiment with four replicates. Most important results obtained can be summarized as followed It : Rosea variety gave the highest values of the attributes of growth characteristics and had a significant superiority in traits (plant height, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight of shoots, the fastest in the opening of flower bud weight of fresh flower, diameter of flower, length of the pod, number of roots/plant, fresh weight of roots/plant, dry weight of roots /plant in both seasons. Both varieties produced equal weight of seeds/pod in the first season, but the violet variety achieved higher seed weight/fruit in the second season. But, it has shown no significant superiority in other qualities such as plant expansion, stem diameter, leaf area, leaf length and width, and root length/plant in both seasons. While variety Alba has shown a significant superiority in terms of primary and secondary branches number/plant, number of flowers, blossom of the flower and gave a greater length of the peduncle, the number of seeds/pod in both seasons. But, it has shown no significant superiority in Petiole length in both seasons.
