The aromatic and medicinal plants (AMPs) are considered as non-traditional, multi-purpose crops in wade Hadhramout. Besides, they are economically viability and of high importance in terms of their nutritional and industrial values. This research aimed at evaluating six of the main AMPs, that occupy about 85% of the total area under aromatic and medicinal crops in wade Hadhramout. The questionnaire methods was used to collect needed data in addition to data obtained from relating sectoral agencies. Suitable descriptive economical and statistical analysis methods were used. Results showed that AMPs having higher efficiency indicators in using production costs under conditions of study sample and selected area have ranged from higher to lower efficiency with black cumin realizing higher marketing efficiency (44%) and cuminn seeds scoring the lease (18%) marketing efficiency. The study concluded with a number of suggestions and proposed actions to encourage AMPs farming and enhancing their productivity to enable them play their expected role in farm export development in light of new local and world changing conditions.
